Earlier this year I visited Tasmania for the first time. I was walking The Falls Circuit at Mount Field National Park when I took this photo. The lush forest with its mossy trees reminded me of Studio Ghibli scenes. I also loved the dappled light falling through the tall trees and casting small circles of light on the path. I hope I was able to capture all this through this painting.
