Printed on 190gsm paper with archival inks. Originally painted with gouache.
When I was studying in Shanghai, my university was very close to Guilin Park, a traditional southern Chinese garden. I would pass it’s walls every time I walked to the subway station. One day I decided to walk through the park inside of around it. Inside I discovered a beautiful, blooming lotus pond. A few months later just before winter, all the lotus was gone, and I regretted not taking more photos while it was in full bloom.
